Still trying to paint flowers. This one was more difficult for me. I just could not achieve the vibrant hues I wanted!

I painted this peony oil still life recently, at a workshop.  I was concentrating on brushwork and values.  The original is NFS, but I liked it enough to offer a limited number of prints.

My workshop paintings have a different feel than most of my artwork.  I think it is from the high level of concentration, that I feel in the classroom.
